Es ist endlich wieder soweit: Das Sommerfest der Chemie/Biologie findet wieder statt!

Zu diesem Anlass sind alle Angehörigen herzlich eingeladen; die Begleitung ist auf +1 begrenzt.
Termin: 07.07.2023, Start um 18.00 Uhr.

Es wird Freibier, Grillgut gegen Spenden, Cocktails für je 1 €, Shots für je 50 ct geben! Musik wird natürlich nicht fehlen. Gefeiert wird an der Grillhütte am Tiergarten (nahe Weidenau ZOB):

Es wird ein Taxi vom Weidenau ZOB zur Hütte und zurück pendeln, damit in den späten Abendstunden alle sicher heimkommen!

Es wäre neben dem Grill auch nett ein paar Salate da zu haben; zu diesem Zweck hängen in den Gebäuden (Chemie auf 0 und 03 an den Aufzügen, am FSR-Büro und Biologie im B-Gebäude) Listen, in die man sich eintragen kann. Natürlich geht das auch online (hier). Dabei bitte beachten, dass as eventuell Allergiker/Veganer gibt und das Essen entsprechend kennzeichnen.

The time has finally come again: The Chemistry Summer Party will take place!
All chemists and biologists are cordially invited to this event; company may be limited to a +1.
Date: 07.07.2023, start at 18.00 o’clock.

There will be free beer, barbecue for a donation, cocktails for 1 €, shots for 50 ct each! Music will not be missing, of course. The party will be held at the Grillhütte am Tiergarten (near Weidenau ZOB): See map above.

A taxi will shuttle from the Weidenau ZOB to the hut and back, so that everyone can get home safely in the late evening hours!

In addition to the barbecue, it would also be nice to have some salads; for this purpose, there will be a list at the elevator at floor 0 where you can sign up. Of course, you can also do it online (here). Please mark the contents of your food to help out fellow allergics/vegans.

Soon the annual research group presentation will take place again. This event serves as an orientation for your selection of a research group for upcoming lab courses, elective lectures and bachelor and master-thesis. The head of the respective research group briefly presents the main topics of current research, possible requirements and the working methods in the group. The event is aimed more at bachelor students from the fourth semester and master students, but all students are cordially invited. 

The event will take place on September 6th from 12:00 pm to approximately 1:30 pm. You can participate live at the university in room AR-F 002 or, if you don’t have time to come to the university you can also join by Zoom from home. You can find this information together with the login data for Zoom in the attached file.

PS: The presentations will be given in english. 

Bald findet wieder die jährliche Arbeitsgruppenvorstellung statt. Diese Veranstaltung dient zur Orientierung bei der Arbeitsgruppenauswahl für anstehende Praktika, Wahlpflichtvorlesungen und auch Abschlussarbeiten. Dabei stellen die Leiter der jeweiligen Arbeitsgruppe die Hauptthemen der aktuellen Forschung, die möglichen Voraussetzungen sowie die Arbeitsweisen in der Gruppe kurz vor. Die Veranstaltung richtet sich dabei eher an Bachelor-Studierende ab dem vierten Semester und Master-Studierende, aber alle Studierende sind herzlich dazu eingeladen. 

Die Veranstaltung wird am 06.09.2022 von 12:00 bis ca. 13:30 stattfinden. Ihr könnt live in der Uni im Raum AR-F 002 teilnehmen oder, wenn ihr keine Zeit habt an die Uni zu kommen auch per Zoom von Zuhause aus. Diese Informationen findet ihr zusammen mit den Anmeldedaten für Zoom in der angehängten Einladung.

PS: Die Vorstellung wird in englisch gehalten.

Da wir, trotz der Lockerungen bezüglich der Pandemie, darauf achten wollen, dass sich niemand sorgen muss werden am Eingang 3G-Nachweise kontrolliert. Wir bitten darum den Ausweis/Studentenausweis mitzuführen, damit die Identität bestätigt werden kann!

Es wäre neben dem Grill auch nett ein paar Salate da zu haben; zu diesem Zweck hängt demnächst neben F-002 eine Liste, in der man sich eintragen kann. Nicht nur hier, sondern auch beim Fest selbst bitten wir um Unterstützung, da sonst nicht immer jemand am Bierrondell oder der Cocktailbar stehen kann. Bei Interesse könnt ihr uns persönlich ansprechen oder auch eine Mail schreiben; Helfer bekommen auch ein paar Cocktails spendiert.

Despite the easing of the pandemic, we want to make sure that no one has to worry, so we will be checking 3G proofs at the entrance. We ask that you bring your ID/student ID with you so that your identity can be confirmed!

In addition to the barbecue, it would also be nice to have some salads; for this purpose, there will soon be a list next to F-002 where you can sign up. Not only here, but also at the festival itself, we ask for your support, otherwise there won’t always be someone at the beer rondel or the cocktail bar. If you are interested, you can contact us personally or send us an email; helpers will also receive a few cocktails.
